1. Information We Collect

Expense Diary does not require account registration and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment information.

The expense data you enter, such as titles, amounts, dates, categories, and preferences, is stored locally on your device.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used only to provide the app's features, including:

  • saving your expense entries on your device
  • showing summaries, spending insights, and category breakdowns
  • remembering your preferences such as currency and custom categories
  • sending local reminder notifications when enabled on your device

3. Data Storage

Expense Diary stores data locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate a remote server for storing your expense data.

If you uninstall the app, locally stored data may be removed from your device unless your operating system or backup settings preserve it.

4. Notifications

Expense Diary may request notification permission so it can send local reminders at scheduled times to help you remember to log expenses.

These notifications are generated locally on your device. We do not use remote push servers to send notification content.

5. Third-Party SDKs and Tracking

Expense Diary includes the TikTok App Events SDK so we can measure installs, app activity, and campaign performance. In connection with that SDK, TikTok may receive app event data such as usage activity, purchase-related events, and identifiers that help attribute and optimize advertising.

Depending on your device settings and consent choices, some of this information may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. On iOS, we will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt where required.

The App Store privacy label categories shown for this app may include Purchases, Identifiers, and Usage Data. These categories can be linked to your identity or device when the SDK processes them for analytics, attribution, or advertising measurement.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal expense entries. We may share limited app event data with service providers and third-party SDK partners such as TikTok so they can provide analytics, attribution, and advertising measurement services.

Expense Diary does not currently include user accounts or cloud sync for your expense records.

7. Children's Privacy

Expense Diary is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
